About my book

I have taken great pains to keep my book as simple as possible and as informative as necessary. The content deals not only with the tattooing itself, but also with problems that arise that have to be mastered in order to work sensibly. I go into detail about clients, the right choice of motif, the first steps in tattooing, time management, colours, needles, social networks, maintenance, opening your own studio, financial hurdles and much more. With a good portion of humor I approached all chapters and try to describe them as vividly as possible. So far, my book is available in three languages and will also be available as an audio book, in German and English, from 20 July. I hope you enjoy reading and learning.

Über mein Buch

Ich habe mir große Mühe gegeben, mein Buch so schlicht wie möglich und so informativ wie nötig zu halten. Der Inhalt beschäftigt sich nicht nur mit dem Tätowieren selbst, sondern darüber hinaus auch mit auftretenden Problemen, die gemeistert werden müssen um vernünftig arbeiten zu können. Ich gehe auf Kunden, die richtige Motivwahl, die ersten Schritte beim Stechen, das Zeitmanagement, Farben, Nadeln, soziale Netzwerke, Pflege, der Eröffnung des eigenen Studios, finanzielle Hürden und vieles mehr ein. Mit einer guten Portion Humor habe ich mich sämtlichen Kapitel genähert und versucht sie so anschaulich wie möglich zu beschreiben. Bislang ist mein Buch in drei Sprachen erhältlich und wird ab dem 20. Juli auch als Hörbuch, in deutscher und englischer Sprache, erhältlich sein. Ich wünsche euch viel Spaß beim Lesen und lernen.

Dennis Nowakowski was born in 1976, in Oberhausen, NRW. As a trained media operator/web designer, he kept his head above water for many years with casual jobs. This work should still be very useful to him. Comics always sparked in him the passion to develop stories and translate them into pictures and speech bubbles. The originally learned profession of a carpenter gave him insights into technical drawings and perspectives, which he turned into comics. Later he worked as a show advertising designer, where light incidence and presentation were very important. Here, too, he applied the knowledge he had learned to his private projects.
